sundays

Sundays are not good when:

  • you get your period
  • you wake up with a cold sore
  • and an ear infection
  • and a hangover
  • your shopping and your grocery cart runs away in the parking lot and smashes into an old lady's car and she demands your insurance and registration
  • there are six loads of laundry to do
  • it has been rainy and dark for weeks and you are depressed

My Friend From Red Deer showed up today, too. Nothing like a 6 am dash to the washroom because the first trickle wakes you up -and, of course, I’d just changed the sheets the previous evening.
I managed to get four loads of laundry done last night.
Unfortunately, I’m not hung over.
I am, however, going shopping right away. I will watch out for old ladies’ cars when I toss my cart across the lot.
I’m sorry your Sunday is definitely sucking.

Although I too am hungover, I’ll be right over and help with the laundry…

You come to my house, fold my clean laundry, and I’ll go to your house and wash and dry your dirty laundry.
I can’t seem to get past the fold. Hate the fold.
I was hungover Saturday. That blew.

If it helps at all, unless the cart incident was somehow linked to the operation of a vehicle, there’s no way for Big Insurance Co (the one in this province, at least) to do a damn thing about it. I had it happen to my 4-days-new minivan, and the dent is still there.
Hope your day improved.

ugh. I know what you mean. but you know, I have a theory for that: it’s because God is busy on Sundays.

That does not sound like a good day at all to me. Ugh.
