I have this crazy idea. Tell me what you think.
As part of his work shane does a lot of conference calls that he records as mp3's. Making the call is free. You get an access code and call a 1-800 number. The conference can accomodate up to 50 people.
I want to start a monthly bloggy crush chat. And then post it here for the world to listen to.
I picture talking with all of you about topics like depression, medication, children, boobs. You know.
We'd have a specific topic each time and talk like internet friends do. Like people who share intimate details, but have never met or even talked.
What do you think?

I think this is a great idea… for other people to do! :) I’m all about listening in on some girl-girl er.. action. (I really didn’t mean that to sound dirty. Okay, well… not TOTALLY anyway..)
But I don’t think I could actually do it. Just think! The entire internets (yes, INTERNETS!) would then be as acutely aware as I am that when I speak I sound like a fourteen year old girl. On speed. And possibly large quantities of Mt Dew and Oreos.. the jury is still out on that one.
But? Other folks? Yay! DO IT!
I love the idea of this and I would totally listen in and maybe participate at some point. Mel says that she sounds like a fourteen year old girl, well I sound totally monotone on recordings, imagine Ben Stein, but as a woman. This could be quite fun :)

That’s a terrific idea. Although I’m not sure all of the yelling and screaming in the background at my house would make mine a very good conf. call location.

LOL, i was thinking the same thing as Jennie…I love the idea but find I use the intenet because my kids won’t let me speak on the phone for longer than two minutes.
I’m interested, maybe more to the listening than the chatting. I don’t know that people would find me normal if I don’t have a delete button and editing features. I have a hard time self editing in conversation. But I’d give it a shot.
Cool idea! Anybody who wants to look hard enough can find video of me on the internets talking about my sexual fantasies (loooooong story). I can’t imagine this could be any more embarrassing so I am game.
