rescue remedy

in messy days

So i'm not really one to embrace the whole holistic health and homeopathy thing. I come from a doctor worshipping medicine loving family. The problem is i hate going to the doctor – really hate it.
I'm way overdue for my pap, but can't bring myself to drag my very nicely shaved parts to the doctor. I don't even take great care of myself. I mean i try. But, i take on too much, load myself up with stress, eat erratically and probably drink too much wine. Especially since i have an alcoholic brother and a family history of diabetes.
But, lately i've been experiencing some anxiety. In normal circumstances i could probably work my way through all of this with relaxing, exercising and increasing the joy in my life.
I just don't have time.
So, yesterday a good friend handed me a bottle of wine and a bottle of rescue remedy. Now doesn't that say something about the image i am projecting.
I will try the rescue remedy. At this point i would use the mystery machine if i thought it would help.

We call those chill out drops at our house. Not sure if it is the shock of the taste or the belief that they should work (even though I never believed they should) but they seem to work on everyone from the wicked dog to small children to grown ups.

I give this to my dogs when it thunders and, weirdly, it works for them. They seem less freaked out almost immediately. And I used to take it during times of inexplicable anxiety (my weird hatred of travelling on a Greyhound buses) and explicable anxiety (dinner at the boyfriend’s parents’ house) and it seemed to help me too. though now I’ve switched to Scotch!

yeah, scotch sounds like a good idea. ;)
you sound very self-aware; at that point, you should give yourself some credit and not let yourself worry so much.
oh, and PAP SMEARS ARE IMPORTANT. take thy nicely shaved parts to the crotch doc at least once a year (because you’ve only got one vagina)!
wow, did you hear that? i think it was my mom…

I’ve had great results with RR on animals; even horses. Results on myself have been so-so.
4 drops under the tongue, if you can, and nothing to eat or drink just before or after. Or they say you can put it in water and drink it, but pbbbbllttt.
